In today's episode Anthony and Isaiah discuss how you can better handle pressure and stress in your life so that you can operate in the chaos.
Pressure is a normal consequence of life and living in society,
we are pressured by friends, family, and everyone around us, but pressure doesn't have to be a bad thing. We can use pressure to fuel us and to push us to be better. We get to decide how pressure is going to affect us, and how we are going to respond to it.
The first line of defense to handling pressure better is to know who you are at the core,
and the best part is that you have a say in who you are at the core. Are you someone who never gives up, someone who is handles pressure well, someone who is going to make the most of every opportunity? Over time you can shape how you respond to, and handle pressure, simply in the way that you define who you are.
The second key to reducing pressure is through mastery.
When you have a lot of knowledge about something, or have practiced it relentlessly you will feel the pressure surrounding that thing decrease. When you practice, develop you skills, and increase your knowledge of something, you will increase your confidence and as a result, decrease the pressure.
