In today's CTM episode Anthony and Isaiah discuss how you can take extreme ownership over your life.

Extreme ownership is an awesome book written by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin. The book is

all about the concept of how taking ownership of things when they go wrong is better than trying to shirk responsibility.

In today's episode Anthony and Isaiah only cover a fraction of the material and lessons from the book, so if you like what was discussed, make sure you go check it out.

No matter what happens to you, to your team, or to the people you serve, you take ownership and responsibility for it, especially if you’re the leader.

You don't have to be the leader to take ownership of a situation and make it better.

Taking ownership means that you take responsibility for what happened and for fixing the problem so it wont happen again.

If you are going to be able to take extreme ownership you are going to have to check you ego.

Our ego is what drives us to achieve and become successful. The right amount of ego is good, because without it we wouldn't have the drive to do anything. But too much ego clouds our judgement, makes it so we wont take responsibility, and prevents us from figuring out how to fix the problem.

Thank you for listening, we really appreciate it, make sure to follow and share the podcast, and we cant wait to see you on the next episode of CTM!
