CTM Episode 16: “How to be a Steward of Your Money”

“Our money is not our own, it is Gods money, we are simply the stewards of it.”

Too many people thing that wealth and money are bad or evil. Money is simply a tool. Like any other tool it can be used for good or bad, and it is up to you how you use it. 

We have to come to realize that

our money is not our own, it is Gods money, we are simply the stewards of it. 

The Bible teaches us to do three things with out money: give, save, and spend 

By giving your money you not only help the church or other people but you also help yourself because you begin to switch from a mindset of scarcity to one of abundance. It also reinforces that money is not the thing to be desired, but what money can do with money, the good you can do with it is what is important. 

Saving is necessary to ensure future financially stability in your life.

When you are not financially stable it adds unneeded stress and uncertainty into your life. 

Finally you should spend you money. After you have given some money, put money away for savings, and paid for necessary expenses you should enjoy your money. You worked hard for it.
