In this CTM episode Isaiah and Anthony discuss what it means to be biblically meek.

In Matthew 5:5 Jesus states "blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth."

Today's definition of meek is "quiet, gentle, easily imposed on, submissive". This doesn't sound like someone who will inherit the earth, so what are we missing?

It turns out that "meek" as we use it today isn't a good translation, a better translation is

"those who have weapons and the ability to use them but are determined to keep them sheathed will inherit the world".

Now that sounds more like it.

Isaiah and Anthony go on to discuss the importance of being "biblically meek" the way Jesus intended us to be, as well as how you can live a more biblically meek life.
