In this CTM episode Isaiah and Anthony discuss who we should be comparing ourselves to.

It is completely natural for us to compare ourselves to others and we do it all the time. However when we compare ourselves to other people too often, it can begin to have detrimental effects.

Don't compare yourself to people who are farther down the path than you.

Don't compare your year 1 to their year 10.

Sometimes people are younger than us and more successful than us, don't compare yourself to them either. They could have far more experience, they could be naturals, they could have had different circumstances that allowed them to develop faster, or they could just value it more than you.

Remember that we often only see the best sides of the people we are comparing ourselves to. No one is perfect.

You should be comparing yourself to who you were yesterday,

not anyone else today. Only you know your values, and only you know if you did something today that moved you along the path towards your goals. Your life is unique, so you cant compare it to others.
